DIRECTIONS: It is recommended to start on a minimal dose and work gradually toward a higher dose. Dosage will differ depending upon whether one wants to cure a chronic condition or just achieve and maintain general good health. 

Previously it was generally accepted that three teaspoons a day was a maximum dose, but recent studies have shown that even higher doses can be taken and that the body actually benefits from them. It is extremely important that these doses are worked up to gradually, over a period of time

Until recently, pregnant and breastfeeding women were not advised to take Black Seed Oil internally, but more recent studies have indicated that it is highly beneficial for pregnant women after the three-month mark, and is it shown to benefit both baby and mother. At the beginning of internal dosage, many people experience belching, or reflux, after ingestion, usually accompanied by a slight taste of oil in the mouth. This is normal and will subside in time. 

Due to the powerful detoxification effect, the body can experience excretions experienced through various channels, namely the skin. Perspiration is usually increased as the body uses the skin to sweat out toxins. Bowel movements can be increased and smell especially pungent.

The Black Seed Oil has a strong action upon the heart, most spiritually and physically. In our experience, nobody has had a heart attack whilst taking the Black Seed Oil, but many experience palpitations and increased heart rate upon first arising or during the night. This is an indication that the oil is working on the heart, but if symptoms persist please reduce your dosage until they subside
